Position Summary
To carry out machine operation by adhering with safe practices and standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure proper and efficient machine operations are carried out in accordance with set standard operating procedures
· Ensure documents / sheets are properly and accurately filled out whilst performing machine operation.
· Ensure best safety practices are carried out whilst performing machine operation and cleaning procedures
· Ensure strict observance with proper hygiene and GMP standard during machine operation.
· Ensure pre-operational checks are performed prior to machine operation
· Ensure compliance with quality standards while operating machine
· Eliminate wastage by effective operational practices.
· Operate the equipment safely.
· Achieve the targeted production plan and service levels. Compliance on standard operating procedures for proper and efficient machine operation
· Accurate and timely completion of documents / sheets
· Adhere to best safety practices during machine operation and cleaning procedures
· Compliance with proper hygiene and GMP standards during machine operation
· Maintain machine condition and sound operation
· Compliance with quality standards
· Zero accidents & no loss of manhours

Requirements
· Diploma Chemical / Electrical / Mechanic Engineer
· 2 years’ experience as a machine operator in any automated Dairy plant.
· Experience in similar position within a dairy or food environment.
· Experienced with automated Process Control
· Experience in working with a multicultural team
· Communication skills
· Machine parameters reading comprehension
· Minor machine defects understanding
· Machine cleaning and maintenance
· Safe manual handling
· Visual and operation inspection procedure
· Machine pre-operational check procedure
· Health and safety awareness
· GMP awareness
