Description:
The role will require in-depth understanding of Cyber Security, Technology architecture and Business security. Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate relevant experience working in a dynamic environment dealing with complex challenges, and communicating to all levels of the business.
Education and Work experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education Seven (7 +) years’ experience in an IT corporate environment with Five (5) years’ of experience in Cyber Security.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with DevOps Manager and IT Infrastructure Manager to ensure that appropriate security measures are in place.
• Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized or illegal activity Test and evaluate security products
• Use advanced analytic tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities
• Have responsibility for scoping penetration testing activities to identify security weaknesses within Group's technology environments; Engage in 'ethical hacking', for example, simulating security breaches Investigate security alerts and provide incident response
• Liaise with stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues and provide future recommendations
• Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits relating to information security
• Act as Data Protection Officer ensuring systems and the information within them comply with current and future (as much as known) security requirements.
• Ensure Group has an effective Data Classification, Data retention and Data archiving process in place
• Develop a culture of in-depth understanding as to why security testing is required at both business and IT team level; Ability to present security topics to a non-technical audience and presenting the business value of security; Ability to understand and assess technology systems and applications from both technical and business function
