Description:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Executive to join our dynamic team at Muscat. As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient inventory levels, ensuring the smooth flow of parts and materials, and contributing to the overall success of our automotive group.
Key Responsibilities:
· Stock Management: Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels. Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and lead times to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Conduct regular stock audits to maintain data accuracy.
· Principle Handling: Collaborate with different departments to understand their inventory needs and requirements. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing. Ensure compliance with all applicable principles and guidelines.
· Obsolescence Management: Identify and mitigate potential obsolescence risks by monitoring slow-moving and non-moving inventory.Develop and execute strategies for the disposition of obsolete or excess inventory.
· Supplier Coordination: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.Coordinate and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any supply chain issues.Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements as needed.
· Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data and generate reports to provide insights into inventory trends, costs, and optimization opportunities. Use data to make informed decisions and implement improvements in inventory management processes.
· Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all inventory control policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inventory transactions.
· Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, production, and procurement, to achieve inventory management goals. Provide training and guidance to junior staff members if applicable.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Preference for graduates in Matgs/ Science , BE or Diploma Holders.
· 8-12 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the automotive industry.
· Prior Experience in GCC is a Plus.
· Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Knowledge of automotive parts and supply chain dynamics is a plus.
