Description:
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Executive to join our team at [Company Name], a leading automotive group in Muscat, Oman. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a pivotal role in managing outbound logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of products to our customers, and maintaining strong coordination with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
· Outbound Logistics Management: Coordinate and oversee outbound logistics activities, including transportation and delivery processes. Regularly liaise with border agents, the Primary Distribution Center (PDC), National Transport and Transit (NTT) authorities, and transporters to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
· Customer Delivery Tracking: Monitor and track customer deliveries to ensure on-time and accurate shipments. Address and resolve any delivery-related issues or discrepancies promptly.
· Bills and Documentation: Process shipping bills, invoices, and other logistics-related documentation accurately. Ensure compliance with all relevant customs and regulatory requirements.
SMR Processing: Handle the processing of Stock Movement Requests (SMR) efficiently.
Verify SMR data and ensure it aligns with inventory records.
· MIS Generation: Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports related to logistics operations. Analyze data and provide insights to improve logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
· Computerized Working Environment: Work in a computerized environment, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Utilize logistics software and systems as needed for efficient operations.
· Transportation Management: Plan and coordinate transportation of materials and products, optimizing routes and costs. Work with transport providers to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient logistics operations.
· Warehousing Operations: Manage warehousing facilities efficiently, ensuring proper storage, organization, and security of products. Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch activities.
· Customs and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all customs, trade regulations, and safety standards. Manage import and export documentation and procedures.
Qualifications:
· Graduation or MBA in a relevant field.
· 8-12 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry.
· Strong knowledge of outbound logistics processes, including customs and border procedures.
· Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
· Proficiency in computerized working environments and logistics software.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to generate meaningful insights from data.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team.
