Job Responsibilities
· To Design Low Voltage 415V (Fixed & Draw out) & Medium Voltage (6.6KV & 11KV) switchgear products in accordance with the customer’s specifications, IEC stds., regulations, safety requirements and good engineering practices.
· Comprehensive knowledge of switchgear products & components (ABB, Siemens, Eaton, Hager etc., ) Shall be able to select MV & LV Components as per SLD, Data Sheet & Specification(VCB, VC, ACB, MCCB, VFD, Soft starter & protection Relays etc.,).
· Shall be able to prepare SLD, G.A, three line diagram, control schematic drawing, VT & CT connection diagram, equipment specification, BOQ, wiring diagram, technical data sheet and compliance statement for both L.V and MV Switchgear.
· Should have Exp. in Oil & Gas sector, Utility, Infrastructure & Hospital projects.
· Well knowledge of L.V/M.V CT sizing calculation, HT Fuse Calculation, Busbar Sizing Calculation, Heat Loss Calculation & selection of metering & protection relays (ABB, Siemens, SEL, GE etc.,).
· Should have knowledge of Co-ordination/Discrimination Study using ETAP or any similar Software.
· Should have hands of experience in detailed Engineering of Control & Protection panels
· Proficiency in using software including ArTUK (ABB), DOC (ABB) , Simaris (Siemens), X-Energy (Eaton).
· Provide technical Support to Estimation/ Sales team in pre-order stage.
· Provide technical Support to Service Team during Site Modification Activity.
· Co-ordinate with Supply Chain, Store, Production & QA/QC team during Project Execution.
· Should have hands on experience in E-Plan, AutoCAD & Elecdes software
· Should have thorough knowledge of IEC Standards of Low and Medium Voltage switchgear.
· Shall be attending technical meeting with Contractor/Consultant/Clients during pre-order and post order execution stage.
· Shall be able to adjust with Multicultural working environment.
· Owns the job and give the productivity and ensure all routine jobs are effectively done irrespective of the hurdles and meet the commitment
· Technical evaluation and approval of alternate item during project execution stage.
· Possess good communication and leadership skill
· Preferable Company Exp.- ABB, SIEMENS, SCHNEIDER, L&T, AL-FANAR, AL-AHLEIA, BIN-GHALIB.
Qualification:
· Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Communication.
· Minimum 7-8 Years of experience in the respective industry.
· GULF Experience is an added advantage.
