Job Summary
A prominent and innovative business group in Oman, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Testing Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services through systematic testing and quality assurance processes.
Job Responsibilities
The Testing Engineer shall be responsible for quality and electrical checks of manufactured products, not limited to
· Functional testing of LV & MV Panels / Switchboards, e.g CT, PT, MFM, Control logic circuits.
· Preparation of inspection and test procedures, ITP and following work procedures.
· Inspection of incoming materials as per specifications. In process inspections during assembly of panels.
· Programming & Testing of VFD’s of different OEM, Programming & Testing Relays e.g O/C, E/F, UV, REF protection
· Programming & Testing Intelligent motor control protection with OEM relays.
· Handling Customer FAT Inspection independently and follow punch points corrective action follow-ups.
· Handling & trouble shooting of Customer complaints at various projects and preparation of failure analysis & corrective action report.
· Attend after sales support & commissioning assistance.
Job Requirements
· Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Degree in Electrical Engineering.
· Experience: Min 5 years relevant experience in Low Voltage & Medium Voltage Panel board testing from Switchgear manufacturing industry background.
· Must have: Programming & Testing protection relays.
- Control Panel, MCC, PLC, VFD Panel wiring logic knowledge.
- LV Panel Board & MV Switchboard testing experience.
- Knowledge on relevant IEC standards added advantage.
- Electrical Safety requirement (ESR) qualification added advantage.
- Ability to measure the quality of incoming components and manufactured products, during the process and as finished goods.
