We are looking for an experienced Logistics Executive with a minimum of 4 to 12 years of expertise in managing the logistics and supply chain operations of automobile parts. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of automotive components, optimizing efficiency, and contributing to the success of our leading automotive group in Oman.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Supply Chain Management: Plan, execute, and oversee the entire supply chain process for automobile parts, from procurement to distribution. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining optimal inventory levels.

·         Inventory Control: Implement robust inventory control measures to prevent shortages and minimize overstock situations. Regularly conduct stock checks and ensure a well-organized and accessible warehouse.

·         Distribution and Transportation: Strategically plan and coordinate the transportation of automobile parts to dealerships and service centers. Optimize shipping routes to reduce costs and enhance delivery times. Ensure secure and efficient packaging and labeling of parts.

·         Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all import/export documentation complies with Omani regulations and international trade standards. Stay updated on customs, import/export laws, and trade compliance to mitigate legal risks. Maintain comprehensive records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory.

·         Supplier and Vendor Relations: Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate favorable contracts and agreements to secure competitive pricing and terms. Address and resolve supplier-related issues professionally and efficiently.

·         Cost Management: Identify opportunities for cost savings within logistics and supply chain operations. Develop and implement cost-effective strategies without compromising quality and service.

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.

·         Relevant industry work experience of 4-10 years .

·         Proven track record in logistics and supply chain management, specifically within the automobile parts industry.

·         Prior work experience in the GCC is preferred.

·         Comprehensive knowledge of Omani customs and import/export regulations.

·         Proficiency in logistics software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.

·         Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
