A job profile for a "Warranty Operator cum Workshop Controller" typically involves managing warranty claims for products or services and overseeing the operations of a workshop or repair facility.
Job Responsibilities
:
· Must be able to handle warranty claim independently as per Manufacturer basic requirement.
· Verifying warranty coverage and ensuring claims meet eligibility criteria.
· Resolving any issues or disputes related to warranty claims.
· Coordinating with customers and technicians to schedule repairs or replacements
· Maintaining records of warranty claims and repairs.
· Inspecting and monitoring workshop activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
· Must be able to prepare work estimation (Explanation of est. to customer & to take the approval)
· Must be able to prepare pre-Invoices & calling customers.
· Must be able to work as a backup for service advisors (able to receive customer / job card opening / & delivery of cars)
Qualification:
· Degree/ Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
· Experience: Basic operations exp 2-3 years preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Familiarity with warranty policies and procedures.
· Proficiency in using office software and database systems.
· Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various departments.
· Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and disputes effectively
