Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer specializing in HVAC and R systems to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for our clients. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities
· Handling of Installation / Service / AMC for HVAC Applied, HVAC Unitary & refrigeration equipment to meet customer requirement and to provide timely service.
· Handling preventive and breakdown services of HVAC Applied, HVAC Unitary & refrigeration equipment and refrigeration equipment.
· Coordination with respective Sales team to meet timely service to customer, as required.
· Coordination with respective Sales team to achieve budgeted revenue, as required.
· Maintain log sheet of Installation / Service / AMC activities, as required.
· Respond to all service requests.
· Coordination with internal sales department / customers / principals / subcontractor for specialized service, as required.
· Coordination with store in charge for delivery of materials, as required.
· Coordination with commercial assistant for procurement of materials & service activities as required to complete Installation / Service / AMC activities.
· Coordination with Consultant / Client approval to complete pre-commissioning checks and start-up of HVAC Applied / HVAC Unitary / Refrigeration System / Equipment as per regional standards.
· Assist customers in answering technical questions on HVAC Applied / HVAC Unitary / Refrigeration System, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution.
· Planning of site activities for effective utilization of resources and for timely completion.
· To lead team of Service Engineers, Sr. Technicians, Technicians & Labours to complete assigned scope.
· Execution of job with desired quality, safety and comply with HSSE requirements.
· Coordination with Client’s site representative as required.
· Generate visit report / work completion report / other documentation and ensure job closure.
· Trouble shooting of HVAC Applied / Unitary / Refrigeration equipments, as required.
· Knowledge on cold store equipments.
· Lead generation.
· Cost control and optimization.
· Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies and procedures.
· Internal and external customer service satisfaction.
· Working knowledge on SAP HANA system.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related field.
· Proven experience of atleast 5 years as a Service Engineer with a focus on HVAC and R systems.
· Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration principles.
· Familiarity with various HVAC and R equipment and systems, including chillers, air handlers, and refrigeration units.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
· HVAC and R certifications/licenses may be required.
