Description:
As an Inventory Controller for Vehicle Spare Parts at our leading Automotive Group in Bahrain, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the inventory of spare parts to support the efficient operations of our vehicle service and maintenance departments. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and preferably some exposure to the GCC automotive spare parts market.
Key Responsibilities:
· Inventory Management: Monitor and control the inventory of vehicle spare parts, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet service demands and customer requirements. Conduct regular audits to assess stock accuracy, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective measures.
· Order Processing: Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to place orders for spare parts, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Verify and process incoming orders, maintaining precise records of all transactions. Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with service and maintenance departments to forecast demand for spare parts based on historical data and upcoming service schedules. Anticipate trends and potential shortages to prevent disruptions in service operations.
· Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control measures for incoming spare parts, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Address and resolve any quality issues promptly, working closely with relevant departments.
· Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to analyze inventory turnover, demand patterns, and other relevant metrics. Generate reports to provide insights into spare parts inventory performance and recommend improvements.
· Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to spare parts inventory, orders, and transactions. Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
· 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in the automotive spare parts industry.
· Familiarity with the GCC automotive spare parts market is a significant advantage.
· Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
