To join our team in Oman. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate at peak performance and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Automobile Engineering and possess 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify vehicle issues and accurately report findings.
· Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including but not limited to cars, trucks, and SUVs.
· Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
· Replace or repair vehicle components and systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
· Perform routine vehicle inspections, identify potential safety concerns, and recommend necessary repairs or improvements.
· Keep accurate records of all repairs, services, and parts used.
· Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repair procedures, costs, and timeframes.
· Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
· Stay updated on industry advancements and continuously improve technical skills through training and workshops.
· Collaborate with other team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Diploma in Automobile Engineering or a related field.
· 3-10 years of experience as an Automotive Technician in a reputable automotive service center or dealership.
· Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
· Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
· Knowledge of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
· Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
