Description:

As an HR, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing various human resources functions. 

  • Oversee all aspects of human resource management, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and employee relations, ensuring compliance with Bahraini labor laws.
  • Facilitate visa processing and work permit applications for expatriate staff in accordance with Bahraini immigration requirements.
Provide guidance on Bahraini labor law matters, including SIO (Social Insurance Organization) contributions and employee benefits.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·         Staffing and Recruitment: Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and plan for recruitment. Participate in the recruitment process, including job posting, screening resumes, and conducting interviews. Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and relevant labor laws.

·         Employee Relations: Handle employee grievances and provide guidance on conflict resolution. Act as a liaison between employees and management to foster a positive work environment. Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions for HR-related issues.

·         Training and Development: Identify employee training and development needs.

·         Coordinate training programs and initiatives to enhance employees' skills and knowledge.

·         Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

·         Performance Management: Manage the performance appraisal process, including goal setting, feedback, and evaluations. Assist in developing and implementing performance improvement plans. Advise and support managers in managing employee performance issues.

·         Compliance and Policies: Ensure that HR policies, procedures, and practices are compliant with labor laws and regulations. Keep abreast of changes in labor laws and recommend policy updates as necessary. Conduct employee orientations and communicate HR policies and procedures.

·         Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR-related documentation. Prepare and submit HR reports to management as required. Use HR software and tools to manage HR data efficiently.

·         Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leaves, and other perks. Provide guidance to employees on benefits and assist with benefit-related inquiries. Employee Engagement: Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities and initiatives. Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee satisfaction.

Requirements:

·        ·         A degree, diploma, or an equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related field.

·         Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong understanding of HR best practices.

·         Excellent knowledge of Oman's labor laws and regulations.

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·         Leadership and supervisory skills to lead and motivate the HR team.

·         Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

·         Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

·         Proficiency in HR software and tools.
