Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Service Manager to join our team at a leading automotive group in Bahrain. This role will be pivotal in supporting the Service Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong automotive service background, excellent leadership skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities:
• Assist the Service Manager in planning, organizing, and managing the daily operations of the service department.
• Coordinate and schedule service appointments, ensuring efficient utilization of service bays and technicians.
• Monitor service workflow and allocate resources effectively to meet customer demand and service targets.
• Supervise service advisors and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure adherence to service standards and procedures, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of service transactions, including repairs, parts inventory, and warranty claims.
• Collaborate with parts department to ensure availability of required parts and accessories for service jobs.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations within the service department.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase service revenue and profitability.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in automotive service operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service experiences.
• Proficiency in automotive service management software and systems.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Bahraini automotive regulations and compliance requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
