Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager for Automobile Spare Parts to join our team at a leading automotive group in Bahrain. This role will be responsible for assisting in managing the spare parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive spare parts management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Spare Parts Manager in overseeing all aspects of the spare parts department, including inventory management, sales, and customer service.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and stock-outs.
• Assist in sourcing and purchasing spare parts from suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor stock movement, identify slow-moving or obsolete parts, and implement strategies to minimize inventory shrinkage.
• Supervise spare parts staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in spare parts ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution processes.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as service and sales, to fulfill spare parts requests and support customer needs.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, resolving any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Implement sales strategies to promote spare parts sales and achieve revenue targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations within the spare parts department.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in automotive spare parts management, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of automobile spare parts, including part numbers, compatibility, and sourcing.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
