Description:

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects within Oman. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives. Provide guidance, support, and direction to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
• Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints. Implement strategies to mitigate risks and minimize project costs.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes. Proactively address issues and challenges to keep projects on track.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project. Address client concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards on construction sites. Implement measures to promote a safe working environment for all project stakeholders.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular progress reports, including project status updates, milestones achieved, and issues encountered. Maintain accurate project documentation and records for future reference.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably in Oman or the GCC region.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Knowledge of local regulations and building codes.
• PMP certification (preferred but not required).
