As an Auto Mechanic specializing in bikes and jet skis at [Company Name], you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorcycles, scooters, and jet skis. This role requires a strong understanding of engine systems, electrical components, and mechanical systems specific to bikes and jet skis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with these vehicles and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and Repair: Perform thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in bikes and jet skis. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems and determine the most effective repair solutions.
• Maintenance Services: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, brake adjustments, and tune-ups, to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of bikes and jet skis.
• Engine Overhaul: Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines for bikes and jet skis as needed. Perform cylinder head repairs, piston replacements, valve adjustments, and other engine-related tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, ignition systems, lighting, and electronic components, to ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Fuel Systems: Inspect, clean, and repair fuel systems, including carburetors, fuel injectors, and fuel pumps, to maintain optimal fuel efficiency and engine performance.
• Drive Train and Suspension: Inspect and repair drive train components, such as transmissions, clutches, and drive belts, as well as suspension systems, to ensure smooth operation and handling of bikes and jet skis.
• Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand their service needs, provide recommendations, and address any concerns or questions they may have. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction at all times.
• Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of all services performed, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic findings. Maintain accurate service logs and documentation for each bike and jet ski serviced.
Qualifications and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or diploma in automotive mechanics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an auto mechanic specializing in bikes and jet skis.
• Strong knowledge of bike and jet ski engine systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
