Description:

The Tendering Specialist plays a critical role in the tendering process of our leading business group in Oman. The Tendering Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing new projects and should be able to handle the entire tendering process effectively. This position is open to candidates of any nationality with relevant experience, particularly those fluent in Arabic. The salary for this role will be between 500 to 900 OMR, depending on qualifications and interview performance.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage the tendering process for new projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and requirements.
• Prepare cost estimations and proposals for tender submissions, considering both technical and commercial aspects.
• Conduct thorough analysis of tender documents and specifications to understand project requirements and scope.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive tender responses.
• Review and evaluate supplier quotations and proposals to ensure competitiveness and alignment with project objectives.
• Prepare and submit tender documents within specified deadlines, adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures.
• Participate in tender clarification meetings and negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers as required.
• Maintain accurate records of tender documents, correspondence, and contractual agreements.
• Provide support to project teams during project initiation and execution phases, ensuring smooth transition from tender to project delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform tendering strategies and decision-making.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Oman, with a strong background in cost estimation and tendering.
• Excellent knowledge of technical and commercial aspects of tendering processes.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English languages.
• Previous experience in the facility management industry is highly desirable.
• Valid Oman driving license.
• Ability to manage and execute new projects effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
