We are seeking an experienced and dynamic National Sales Manager to lead our sales operations within the GCC region. The ideal candidate will have up to 20 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong background in managing sales teams, developing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the bakery products market and a proven track record of success in sales management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and profitability. Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the FMCG market, specifically within the bakery products segment. Set sales targets and KPIs for the sales team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a national sales team to achieve sales targets. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team through continuous training and development.
• Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market presence. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners. Negotiate contracts and agreements with major clients.
• Market Analysis and Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies accordingly. Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to make informed business decisions.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless operations. Collaborate with the product development team to provide market feedback and support new product launches. Coordinate sales activities with regional managers to ensure consistent execution of sales strategies across different territories.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
• Up to 20 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with a significant portion spent in sales management.
• Proven track record of success in managing national sales teams and driving revenue growth.
• Extensive experience in the bakery products sector is highly desirable.
