Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Executive to join our FMCG group in Oman. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse management, particularly within the FMCG sector. The Warehouse Executive will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. They will ensure that productivity targets are met and maintain high standards of warehouse safety, hygiene, and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods. Ensure optimal utilization of warehouse space and proper organization of goods.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical inventories. Monitor stock levels and ensure inventory accuracy to prevent discrepancies.
• Order Fulfillment: Coordinate and oversee the picking, packing, and dispatch of orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Implement and monitor performance metrics to ensure high levels of order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support as needed. Schedule shifts and manage the workforce to ensure efficient operations.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse. Implement safety procedures and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a safe working environment.
• Logistics Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and transport companies for the timely delivery and dispatch of goods. Manage inbound and outbound logistics to optimize transportation and reduce costs.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity. Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology solutions to streamline operations.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational issues. Analyze data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and logistics.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks and work in a warehouse environment.
