Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management and Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and local regulations. Coordinate and manage the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with the company's goals. Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Participate in long-term financial planning and risk management.
• Audit and Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Maintain robust internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures. Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
• Cost Management: Monitor and manage company’s financial performance against budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize financial efficiency. Conduct financial analysis to support cost control and reduction initiatives.
• Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed. Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions. Optimize the company’s capital structure and manage debt and equity financing.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance department. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.
• Financial Systems and Processes: Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Ensure the effective implementation of financial software and tools.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) is a must.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role within the automotive industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial modeling, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading finance teams and managing financial operations.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Technology: Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Location Flexibility: Willingness to travel between Oman and Saudi Arabia as required.
• Cultural Fit: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Language: Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
