We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our orgaonization. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of financial management principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively. The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring the company's financial health and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee financial plans and strategies to support the organization's objectives. Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes. Prepare detailed financial forecasts and budgets.
• Budget Management: Coordinate the annual budgeting process and manage monthly and quarterly budget reviews. Monitor and report on variances between actuals and budgeted financial performance. Implement budgetary controls to ensure effective financial management.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements. Generate comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Cost Management: Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Implement and monitor cost control measures across departments.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Oversee external audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and standards.
• Investment Management: Manage the organization’s investment portfolio to maximize returns. Provide recommendations on investment strategies and opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Education: Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the same industry.
• Certifications: CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certifications are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial modeling techniques.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.
• Integrity: High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
