Planning, organizing, leading, and controlling organizational resources in order to achieve given targets, meeting the deadlines and accepted quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for execution of all production work of converting cut components into quality products to meet our end customer’s expectations.
• Overseeing the production process, based on given plans/targets.
• Working out the headcount requirement and material resources according to plan regular basis.
• Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
• Making sure that products are produced on time with correct color size ratios adhering to quality norms set by Quality Assurance Department.
• Monitoring product standards adhering to quality-control procedures.
• Liaising among different departments as and when needed.
• Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
• Supervising and motivating team members.
• Reviewing the performance of team members.
• Identifying training needs & conducting required training coordinate with HR dept.
• Conducting skill upgrading process and continuously maintaining required skill at the production floor.
• Improve production efficiency regular basis.
• Reducing production loss times and wastage in the production.
• Achieving 100% on time delivery.
• Eliminating waste within the production process & ensuring that no raw material issued for production is wasted / over consumed or misplaced.
• Keeping the entire production floor neat & tidy at all the times.
• Ensuring that there is no WIP building up on any sewing operation & within the sewing floor.
• Fully focusing on Continuous Improvement & 5S processes
• Focusing on Innovation
• Working with Operation Head to evaluate existing SOP’s and fine tuning them regularly.
Required Qulifications
• Graduate from a recognized university or an apparel related qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the specific field.
• Communication skills in English
• Computer literacy
• Pro-active person to identity potential problems well in advance & take necessary corrective / preventive action.
