Description:
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and service solutions for automotive products. You will work closely with the service team to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to diagnose and resolve complex automotive issues, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Vehicle Repair and Maintenance: Perform routine and complex repairs and maintenance on various vehicle models, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their concerns, provide updates on repair status, and explain technical details in a clear, non-technical manner.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all service and repair work, including diagnostics, parts used, and labor times.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on completed work to ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Training and Development: Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and industry trends. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other service engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and superior service delivery.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Service Engineer in the automotive industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and software. Strong understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, OEM-specific certifications) are highly desirable.
• Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license.
