As a Floor Supervisor with 10 years of experience, you will oversee the daily operations on the shop floor, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality service, and exceptional customer satisfaction. Your role will involve managing warranty processes, handling customer inquiries, and leveraging your technical expertise to support the service team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Shopfloor Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of technicians and service staff on the shop floor to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
• Warranty Management: Oversee warranty processes, including claim submissions, approvals, and repairs, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Customer Handling: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, providing updates on service status and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Technical & Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of automotive products and technologies to support technicians and provide accurate information to customers.
• Understanding Business Reports: Analyze business reports and metrics to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to achieve service goals.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with service managers, technicians, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to technicians and service staff, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shop floor activities, warranty claims, and customer interactions.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications:
• Education: Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on shop floor supervision.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of automotive systems, warranty processes, and technical service operations.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with customers, technicians, and management.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in automotive technology or service management are desirable.
• Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
