As a Master Electrician, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical expertise in the electrical systems of automotive vehicles. You will lead by example, ensuring all electrical repairs and diagnostics meet the highest standards of quality and safety, and support junior technicians with your extensive knowledge and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Scanning & Diagnosing: Utilize advanced scanning tools to diagnose electrical faults in vehicle systems and implement effective solutions.
· Troubleshooting: Expertly diagnose and resolve electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
· Read & Understand Wiring Diagrams: Accurately interpret and apply wiring diagrams to diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems.
· AC Repairs: Perform complex repairs and maintenance on automotive air conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
· Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to other technicians and service staff, sharing knowledge and best practices.
· Vehicle Repair and Maintenance: Execute routine and complex electrical repairs and maintenance tasks, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
· Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their concerns, provide updates on repair status, and explain technical details in a clear, non-technical manner.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all service and repair work, including diagnostics, parts used, and labor times.
· Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on completed work to ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
· Training and Development: Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and industry trends. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
· Team Collaboration: Work closely with other service engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and superior service delivery.
· Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications:
· Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automobile Engineering.
· Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Master Electrician in the automotive industry.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and software. Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, including wiring, electronic control units, and air conditioning systems.
· Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
· Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, OEM-specific certifications) are highly desirable.
· Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
· Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license.
· Additional Qualifications:
Gulf experience (excluding Japanese vehicles) with a valid driving li
