Description:
Key Responsibilities
• Providing skilled health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services (including contraception) to patients.
• Ordering diagnostic tests as needed, checking and informing patients of results in a timely manner.
• Listening to patients, consulting, diagnosing and accordingly treating patients.
• Deciding on the right course of action for patients and documenting all care provided and education/information given.
• Prescribing medication as appropriate, Explain to patients details of their illness & various treatment options available to them.
• Record all examination findings, investigations, diagnoses, treatment of the patients.
• Issuing the Sick Leaves as per the diagnosis in line with MOH guidelines and medical reports as and when needed in line with Centre’s policy.
• Referring patients to specialized hospitals for treatment if the need exceeds the range of care available.
• Develop & maintain a good rapport with patients.
• Working constructively and harmoniously with other members of the Centre to ensure patients receive optimal care.
• Administrative and management duties as assigned.
• Completes the patient records in HIMS system as necessary. Consult with or provide consultation to the other Doctors when needed.
• Maintain Medical Ethics.
Requirements
Qualification: MBBS (Medicine)
Experience : 3+ years’ work experience in relevant field
Skills : Good communication skills; Analytical skills
Preference will be given to the MOH Oman License holders
