Description:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement within the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management. Prior experience working in the UAE is a must.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on project requirements, quality standards, and cost considerations.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and industry standards.
• Monitor market trends and analyze price trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments to maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
• Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
• Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement within the oil and gas industry.
• Prior experience working in the UAE is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and contract negotiation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is a plus.
