We are seeking a talented and experienced Lighting Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lighting design, electrical systems, and project management. As a Lighting Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing lighting systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop lighting systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Conduct site assessments and evaluations to determine lighting needs and solutions.
• Create detailed lighting plans, specifications, and layouts using CAD software.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate lighting designs into overall project plans.
• Select appropriate lighting fixtures, controls, and systems based on project requirements and budget.
• Perform lighting calculations and simulations to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of lighting systems.
• Ensure compliance with local and international lighting standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.
• Stay updated on the latest lighting technologies, trends, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in lighting design and engineering.
• Proficiency in lighting design software such as DIALux, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, lighting controls, and energy efficiency principles.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional certification in lighting design (e.g., LC, IES) is a plus.
