Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Procurement Executive or Procurement Specialist with a strong background in the tyre industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing tyres, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the quality and cost-effectiveness of the products. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the tire market, excellent negotiation skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement process for tyres, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing, ensuring that all purchases meet company standards for quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure a reliable supply of products.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, product availability, and pricing, and use this information to make informed procurement decisions.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels to meet business needs without overstocking.
• Cost Control & Reporting: Monitor procurement budgets, control costs, and provide regular reports on procurement activities, savings, and supplier performance.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, and handle any discrepancies or issues that arise.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on the tyre industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles
• Experience in the Gulf region
