Description:
The incumbent shall be responsible for the overall Accounts and finance functions for a brownfield Automotive project (CKD). The job includes, mainly, the following:
· Oversee the overall accounting and finance function, ensure financial planning and provide strategic directions.
· Serve a strategic/advisory role to the CEO and the management
· Implement effective accounting processes/systems with effective internal controls.
· Ensure statutory and regulatory compliances and also compliance with Group’s internal corporate policies and financial practices.
· Create forecasting models and assess risks.
· Collaborate with external partners such as Banks, Auditors, tax Consultants, govt authorities etc.
· Documentation, MIS reporting, Budgeting and budgetary controls.
· Provide overall operational leadership and directions to the team.
Required Qualifications:
· CA/ACCA/CFA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
· Potential candidate should have around 20-25 years’ experience in similar functions; should be currently leading similar functions with large reputed organisation. Experience in establishing accounting systems/practices in new projects shall be preferred. Those with experience in and around the region will have an advantage.
· Knowledge of French desirable; though not mandatory.
· Age around 45 - 50 years.
