Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician (Express Service) to join our team at a leading automotive group in Oman. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in automotive service, with a focus on express service operations. The candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and minor repairs to ensure quick and efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform express services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, battery replacements, and fluid checks.
· Conduct basic vehicle diagnostics and identify potential issues during routine maintenance.
· Ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and company protocols.
· Communicate effectively with the service advisor regarding any additional services or repairs required.
· Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to perform accurate assessments of vehicle conditions.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and service techniques.
· Follow all company policies and procedures, including quality control and vehicle inspection protocols.
· Provide exceptional customer service by explaining service details and recommendations to customers.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive technology preferred.
· 3-4 years of experience in automotive service, with a focus on express service.
· Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
· Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
· Valid driver’s license will be an advantage
