Description:
We are Looking for an Experienced Production Manager to lead our marble production factory in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the production unit, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of marble production processes, and the ability to optimize production lines to achieve maximum productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage all aspects of the production process in the marble factory, including planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing activities.
· Develop and implement production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products according to customer requirements.
· Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures to enhance profitability.
· Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
· Manage and lead a team of production supervisors, operators, and other staff to achieve daily production targets.
· Maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet industry and customer specifications.
· Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
· Analyse production data and prepare reports for senior management, highlighting areas for improvement.
· Collaborate with the procurement team to manage inventory levels of raw materials and ensure a smooth production flow.
· Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resources.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum of 15 years of experience in production management within the marble or stone industry.
· Proven experience in managing a large-scale production facility.
· Strong understanding of marble production processes, equipment, and machinery.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to manufacturing.
· Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
· Knowledge of ERP systems related to production and inventory management.
Familiarity with quality assurance standards and certifications in the marble industry
