Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in maintaining, repairing, and installing various types of air conditioning units, including Split, Window, Cassette, Duct, Package, and Standing ACs. The candidate must be able to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure the proper functioning of all HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of various types of air conditioning units, including Split, Window, Cassette, Duct, Package, and Standing units.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions to identify repair needs.
· Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the optimal performance of HVAC systems.
· Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration, cooling, and air conditioning systems and equipment.
· Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for the installation and repair of HVAC systems.
· Handle refrigerants responsibly, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and regulations.
· Replace or repair damaged or worn-out components, such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
· Test HVAC systems and components to ensure proper functionality.
· Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work performed.
· Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently.
· Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or certification in HVAC is preferred.
· Proven experience (minimum of 3-5 years) as an HVAC Technician, specializing in Split, Window, Cassette, Duct, Package, and Standing air conditioning units.
· Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and their functions.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
· Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
· Knowledge of electrical systems and controls related to HVAC systems.
· Familiarity with safety standards, regulations, and procedures related to HVAC maintenance and repair.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
· Valid HVAC technician license or certification (if required by the location).
· Ability to lift heavy equipment and components.
· Willingness to work in varying conditions, including confined spaces and heights.
