Description:

The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for leading and managing the HR function of the organization at the corporate level, ensuring the development and implementation of effective HR strategies, policies, and procedures that support the business's goals and objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can foster a high-performance culture, manage organizational change, and ensure the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

·         Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction of high-quality talent to the organization.

·         Manage the performance management process to drive high performance, including setting KPIs, conducting performance appraisals, and ensuring career development planning.

·         Lead the development of a comprehensive training and development program to enhance employee skills and career growth.

·         Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in Oman and best practices in employee relations.

·         Design and oversee the implementation of compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with the company’s objectives.

·         Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to improve overall HR operations and create a positive work environment.

·         Lead organizational development initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and change management.

·         Act as a point of contact for all HR-related matters at the corporate level and provide guidance to business units on HR issues.

·         Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.

·         Manage employee engagement and retention strategies to reduce turnover and increase job satisfaction.

·         Collaborate with department heads and senior management to provide HR support for strategic initiatives.

Key Requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is preferred.

·         Minimum of 20 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

·         Proven experience in strategic HR management, including talent management, organizational development, and employee relations.

·         Strong knowledge of Omani labor laws and regulations.

·         Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

·         Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

·         Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives and build a high-performance culture.

·         Experience working in a diverse and multicultural environment, preferably within the GCC region.
