Description:
The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of Zubair Group Companies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the organization's growth and sustainability. This role will involve managing the finance team, preparing financial reports, and implementing financial controls.documentation and ensuring smooth sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Financial Reporting
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances."
· Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor budget performance.
- Develop financial forecasts and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making."
· Financial Controls
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and integrity."
· Cash Flow Management:
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Develop strategies to improve cash flow and working capital management."
· Tax Compliance:
- Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and compliance with local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to optimize tax strategies."
· Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance."
· Strategic Planning:
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives and provide insights based on financial analysis.
- Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities by conducting due diligence and financial assessments."
· Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate financial information to internal and external stakeholders, including executives and board members.

Key Requirements:
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA, CPA or CMA mandatory. Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in financial management or controller role, preferably in a corporate environment.
