A leading business in Oman is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of its non-banking finance division. The ideal candidate must be a Chartered Accountant with articleship from a reputed firm and possess a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in strategic financial planning, risk management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial regulations.
· Develop and implement financial strategies to support the institution's growth and profitability.
· Manage cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements to meet operational and financial goals.
· Ensure compliance with all financial and tax regulations, including internal controls and audits.
· Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making to senior management.
· Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
· Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring efficient financial operations.
· Monitor and mitigate financial risks associated with the business.
· Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements relevant to the financial sector.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with articleship completed at a reputed firm.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience post-qualification, preferably in a non-banking finance institution.
· Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
· Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
