As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical expertise in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of automotive vehicles. You will lead by example, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety, and support junior technicians with your extensive knowledge and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Aggregate Repairs: Perform complex repairs on major vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, and differentials, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
· Troubleshooting: Expertly diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
· Scanning and Diagnosing: Utilize state-of-the-art scanning tools to diagnose faults in vehicle systems and implement effective solutions.
· Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to other technicians and service staff, sharing knowledge and best practices.
· Vehicle Repair and Maintenance: Execute routine and complex repairs and maintenance tasks, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
· Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their concerns, provide updates on repair status, and explain technical details in a clear, non-technical manner.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all service and repair work, including diagnostics, parts used, and labor times.
· Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on completed work to ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
· Training and Development: Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and industry trends. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
· Team Collaboration: Work closely with other service engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and superior service delivery.
· Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications:
· Education: Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
· Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Master Technician in the automotive industry.
· Technical Certification from Nissan is Mangatory
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and software. Strong understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, and electronic systems.
· Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
· Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, OEM-specific certifications) are highly desirable.
· Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
· Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license.
· Gulf experience (excluding Japanese vehicles) with a valid driving license is mandatory. driver’s license.
