Description:
The After-Sales Business Development Manager (BDM) will lead efforts to drive growth in the after-sales department by developing and implementing revenue-boosting strategies for services, parts, and customer care. This role is crucial in understanding market dynamics, building strong customer relationships, and creating programs that enhance customer retention and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in automotive after-sales with a strategic approach to business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Development: Create and execute strategies aimed at maximizing after-sales revenue across services, parts sales, and customer support programs.
· Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify growth opportunities, understand customer needs, and analyze competitive trends in the Oman market.
· Customer Loyalty Programs: Develop and oversee customer retention programs, aiming to improve loyalty, boost repeat business, and increase customer satisfaction.
· Revenue & Sales Targets: Set, monitor, and achieve revenue targets for after-sales, regularly reviewing KPIs and developing action plans to ensure objectives are met.
· Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key fleet and retail clients, acting as the primary point of contact to address their after-sales needs.
· Service Promotions: Plan and roll out promotional campaigns for after-sales services, increasing customer engagement and driving service volumes.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with service, parts, and customer care teams to ensure efficient service delivery, high-quality standards, and a positive customer experience.
· Introduction of New Offerings: Identify and introduce innovative after-sales products and service packages to meet evolving customer expectations.
· Reporting & Analytics: Generate regular performance reports, providing insights on after-sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Enngineering or Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
· Experience: 10-15 years in after-sales or business development, with at least 3-5 years in the automotive industry, ideally within the GCC.
· Sales and Strategy Expertise: Proven experience in achieving sales targets, with a strategic approach to growing after-sales revenue streams.
· Customer-Focused Approach: Strong dedication to enhancing customer satisfaction and creating value-added programs.
· Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, market insights, and customer feedback for informed decision-making.
· Leadership Skills: Skilled at working with cross-functional teams, guiding initiatives, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
· Excellent Communication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities to build customer loyalty and promote after-sales offerings.
· Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive after-sales processes, service standards, and parts management.
· Computer Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office and CRM software; ERP experience is advantageous.
