Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales and Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates, supporting the sales team with technical expertise, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the switchgear sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for low voltage (LV) switchgear panels, including direct and indirect costs.
• Technical Support: Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to understand client requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare technical documents, quotations, and compliance statements for projects.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to explain technical specifications, address queries, and ensure project requirements are met.
• Project Management: Assist in project planning, cost tracking, and schedule development using project management tools.
• Field Support: Support field installations, including commissioning, inspection, and preventative maintenance.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions to enhance client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, estimation, or engineering roles, preferably in the switchgear industry.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of LV switchgear components and systems, proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD, excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Certifications: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (IEC, DEWA, ADDC, etc.) is preferred
