Job Description
• Manage the execution of softscape projects, equipment requirements and timing to ensure completion of work within project schedule.
• Manage safety, quality and productivity of work sites.
• Assist in the preparation of jobsites prior to the beginning of a project.
• Read and interpret specifications to delegate/complete work activities.
• Supervise the work of staff members to ensure proper safety, quality and productivity.
• Utilize necessary equipment to complete job task.
• Perform preventive maintenance tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating and cleaning on a daily basis.
• Train staff members on proper and safe job methods.
• Complete and submit all required paper works on daily basis.
• Perform manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments and equipment.
Responsibilities
Responsible for a variety of job tasks in the completion of landscaping projects, including but not limited to plant installation, sodding, seeding, pruning, trimming, weeding and fertilizing.
Minimum Requirements High School level or equivalent
Qualifications • Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Plant knowledge and identification and experience in plant care.
• Competent in the use of power tools (chainsaw, sprayers, lawn mowers, trimmers etc.).
• Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
• Ability to work both independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to lead others and manage staff/labor.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Knowledgeable in landscapes, hardscapes, drainage, irrigation and lighting.
