Responsibilities
• Plant maintenance and able to give advice to customers.
• Extensive knowledge of flower names and varieties.
• Able to use all systems such as Till and Detrack.
• Cash handling and use of PDQ machine.
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures at all times.
• Working within a team.
• Ability to send a clear and cohesive email.
• Serving Customers.
• Clear understanding of the company structure.
• Ability to embrace and execute all styles and areas of floristry.
• Production speed of a minimum of 4 bouquets per hour.
• Attendance and assistance on offsite installations.
• Work alone offsite (eg, corporate and client home installations). Conditioning of flowers.
• Advising customers instore, over the phone and via email.
• Daily upkeep of shop/work environment.
• Stock rotation.
• Dealing with daily paperwork such as EOD reports.
• Creating beautiful bouquets and floral products that keep to the design brief as dictated by Lead Designer and Client requests.
• Create arrangements for hotels, events, wedding and other occasions
Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of Floristry experience.
• Minimum of 1 years of Retail Experience.
• Knowledge in various types of flowers based on the season and environment.
