Job Description
The successful candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate the following attributes that contribute to successfully managing a shop:
• Plant maintenance and able to give advice to customers
• Extensive knowledge of flower names and varieties
• Able to use all systems such as till and Detrack
• Cash handling and use of PDQ machine
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures at all times
• Working within a team
• Ability to send a clear and cohesive email
• Serving Customers
• Clear understanding of the company structure
• Ability to make decisions in the absence of a Line Manager
• Flower and Plant ordering
• Ability to embrace and execute all styles and areas of floristry
• Production speed of a minimum of 4 bouquets per hour
• Attendance and assistance on offsite installations
• Work alone offsite (eg, corporate and client home installations)
Responsibilities
• Training new staff
• End of week reporting (petty cash, budgets etc)
• Preparation of mood boards and quotations
• Planning designs and installations
• Clear understanding of the company structure
• Ability to make decisions in the absence of a Direct Manager
• Ordering of flowers and sundries within budget
• Rota Cloud Management
• Budget Management
• Reporting directly to Area Manger concerning staff issues
• Reporting and overseeing general maintenance
Qualifications:
• Grade C minimum GCSE (or similar) in English and Mathematics
• Minimum of 5 years of Floristry experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of Retail Experience.
• One-year inhouse work experience.

• Patient
• Clear understanding of the English language in written and verbal form.
