Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in procurement, a strong and engaging personality, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have experience working in relevant and/or large companies.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials and services.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.
• Anticipate unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Requirements:
• BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
• 2-4 years of experience in procurement.
• Strong and engaging personality with good communication skills.
• Experience in relevant and/or large companies.
• Female candidates are preferred to diversify the department.
• Candidates of other nationalities are preferred to diversify the department.
• Proven working experience as a procurement specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
