Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical skills, along with a strong background in managing and maintaining complex IT infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure including switches, VLANs, and ACLs.
• Configure and maintain routers, firewalls, and other network devices (e.g., PA, Cisco, Juniper).
• Manage wireless networking standards and technologies, including Wi-Fi 6 and WPA3.
• Oversee cloud services and networking in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Ensure technical proficiency in IP phone systems (e.g., Cisco, Avaya).
• Manage Data Center operations including installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Handle Active Directory management and integration.
• Administer virtualized environments using Hyper-V and VMware.
• Manage server hardware and operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and other staff members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company’s infrastructure remains cutting-edge.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven working experience as a Senior IT Infrastructure Technician or similar role.
• Extensive experience with switching, VLANs, and ACLs.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, firewalls, and other network devices (e.g., PA, Cisco, Juniper).
• Strong knowledge of wireless networking standards and technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi 6, WPA3).
• Experience with cloud services and networking in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Technical awareness in IP phone systems (e.g., Cisco, Avaya).
• Experience with Data Center management.
• Proficiency in Active Directory management.
• Experience with virtualized environments (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Solid experience in server hardware and operating systems management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
