Description:
Generate revenues and enhance brand equity which contribute to sustenance, growth and development of the division and in turn, the organization, by addressing requirements of the industry
• Meeting & Exceeding expectation of customers by supplying required building materials / products to meet the requirements of building material dealers and Contractors (Civil, MEP & Interiors & fit-out)
• Meeting set targets and achieving all-round growth for the organization
• Explore avenues of expanding organization’s business
• Adhering to corporate policies and its legal obligations
Job Responsibilities
• Dealer / Channel sales: Generate business from building material dealers.
• Project sales : Meeting all stake holders in the value chain viz consultants, main contractors, MEP contractors, fit-out contractors, interior designers & clients for generating enquiries, preparing offers, technical submittals, converting quotes to orders in order to achieve budgeted sales revenues and margins
• Tendering: Participating in prospective tenders & enquiries, by making quotations to enquiries received
• Order Finalization: Follow-up, negotiation and finalization of orders / supply contracts with customers and vendors
• Contract / Orders execution: Receive, acknowledge, process, execute and deliver orders, in accordance with order/contract obligations. Processing of order will include supplier related activities, like preparing orders or suppliers, providing assistance for obtaining approvals from customers, and continuous follow-to to ensure contract obligations are met
• Payment Collection: As per company policy
• Market survey and competitor feedback: Regarding Future & Ongoing projects, competition activities, customer satisfaction and avenues for expansion and growth. Periodical price and product feedback of competitors
Organizational Requirements: Budget inputs for forecasting, achieving set targets, adhering to corporate policies, code of ethics, quality policies and objectives and social commitments to train & develop local expertise
Requirements
• Any Diploma/Graduate/Engineer (Civil or Mechanical) 5-10 years relevant experience
• Addl. qualifications in Business Management preferred, but not essential Prior experience in Salalah (Oman) region highly desirable Sound knowledge of entire sales process – Prospecting, cold-calling, enquiry, quotation, negotiation, sale-closing and payment collections. Exposure to selling of general building / construction materials like pipes & fittings, manhole covers & gratings, plasters, tile adhesives, sanitaryware, steel, plywood/timber etc. Should have experience in dealing with building material dealers, contractors (Civil, MEP, infrastructure, landscaping Civil, Interiors & fit-out etc.) Excellent communication skills. Excellent presentation skills Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills. Excellent Negotiation Skills Ability to source best-in-class products to meet market requirements Self-motivated and strong perseverance character Good team player Proficient in MS Office – word, excel, PPT etc. Analyze and understand requirement/potential of customers.
