Description:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Server Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role requires in-depth technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Servers Health Monitoring: Conduct daily health checks on servers to ensure optimal performance.
• Breakdown Call and Co-ordinating with AMC Support Vendor: Handle breakdown calls and coordinate with AMC support vendors for resolutions.
• Windows Security Update Monitoring: Monitor and apply Windows security updates to maintain system security.
• Active Directory – Well Versed with FSMO Role Migration: Manage Active Directory and perform FSMO role migrations.
• Active Backup and Restore: Perform regular backups and restore data as needed.
• Domain User Group Policy: Create and manage domain user group policies.
• DNS Record Monitoring, Creating, and Deleting Stale Records: Monitor DNS records, create new records, and delete stale ones.
• Exchange Server Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Exchange server.
• New User Mailbox Creation / Monitoring: Create and monitor new user mailboxes.
• Mailbox Database Size Utilization and Monitoring: Monitor mailbox database size and utilization.
• Antivirus Server Patch Update: Apply antivirus server patch updates.
• Backup Server Job Monitoring, Tape Cleaning, and Allocation of New Tape: Monitor backup server jobs, clean tapes, and allocate new tapes.
• Data Backup to Disk Utilization: Perform data backups and monitor disk utilization.
• Server Migration / OS Update Co-ordinating with Vendor: Coordinate with vendors for server migrations and OS updates.
• Server OS Installation: Install and configure server operating systems.
• NAS Storage Health & Disk Utilization Monitoring: Monitor NAS storage health and disk utilization.
• Avaya IP Phone Configuration and Installation: Configure and install Avaya IP phones.
• Call Recording Server Monitoring: Monitor call recording servers for performance and issues.
• Server Storage Disk: Manage server storage disks.
• Network Switch Configuration and Installation: Configure and install network switches.
• WiFi Device Setup: Set up and configure WiFi devices.
• Hands-on Experience on VMware, Hyper-V Virtual Servers Installation and Configuration: Install and configure VMware and Hyper-V virtual servers.
• Windows Hyper-V Failover Cluster Setup and Monitoring: Set up and monitor Windows Hyper-V failover clusters.
