We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Manager to join our leading automotive group in Bahrain. The IT Manager will oversee all aspects of our information technology and computer systems, ensuring their efficiency, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in the automotive industry, and the ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Budget Planning: Develop and prepare the IT-related yearly budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• ERP/DMS Expertise: Be well-versed with ERP/DMS systems specific to automotive dealerships.
• Workflow Knowledge: Have a complete understanding of the automotive dealership workflow.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate and develop partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and IT-related service providers to manage IT products and services portfolio.
• Database Management: Possess knowledge of SQL development and Oracle Database monitoring.
• Project Management: Manage software implementation and upgrade projects, including initiation, planning, testing, monitoring, and execution.
• System Performance: Monitor system performance, provide security measures, troubleshoot, and conduct maintenance as needed.
• Windows Security: Monitor Windows security updates and ensure they are applied promptly.
• Infrastructure Management: Ensure the availability and accessibility of all IT infrastructure supporting business SLAs.
• New Setup Coordination: Manage, budget, plan, and coordinate IT infrastructure for new office or branch setups.
• Active Directory: Be well-versed with FSMO role migration and manage Active Directory effectively.
• Backup and Restore: Perform active backup and restore operations.
• Group Policy Management: Manage domain user group policies.
• DNS Management: Monitor DNS records, create new records, and delete stale records.
• Exchange Server: Troubleshoot Exchange server issues and monitor mailbox database size utilization.
• Server Migration: Coordinate server migration and OS updates with vendors.
• Virtualization: Have hands-on experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtual server installation and configuration.
• Cluster Management: Set up and monitor Windows Hyper-V failover clusters.
• User Support: Provide IT and PABX-related support to end users as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
