: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Livestock Import and Trading Specialist to oversee the importation, trading, and operations of livestock. The ideal candidate will have expertise in supply chain management, market analysis, and vendor relations, with a focus on delivering high-quality livestock to the market while ensuring compliance with all legal and health regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor and Supplier Management:
o Identify and establish relationships with reliable livestock suppliers, particularly in Somalia, Bosnia, and other target markets.
o Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure the best deals.
o Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply quality and availability.
2. Logistics and Import Operations:
o Coordinate the end-to-end import process, including transportation, shipping, and customs clearance.
o Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding livestock importation.
o Manage documentation, including health certificates, import permits, and contracts.
3. Market Analysis and Sales:
o Analyze market trends and customer demands to determine pricing strategies and sales opportunities.
o Develop and implement sales plans to maximize profitability.
o Build relationships with local buyers, including butchers, restaurants, and wholesalers.
4. Health and Quality Assurance:
o Oversee the health and welfare of livestock during transportation and storage.
o Work closely with veterinarians to ensure compliance with health standards and address any issues promptly.
5. Operations Management:
o Manage storage facilities, including proper feeding, watering, and care of livestock.
o Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking as needed.
o Ensure operational efficiency and cost control.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
o Prepare regular reports on import performance, sales, and market insights.
o Provide recommendations to improve operations and profitability.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proven experience in livestock import, trading, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and logistical management skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Arabic or other relevant languages is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business tools.
