We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager - Projects to lead business development, ensure project excellence, and drive operational growth. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of project management, deliver exceptional quality within defined timelines and budgets, and expand project portfolios across various sectors such as mixed developments, high-rise buildings, oil & gas, and luxury housing.
Key Responsibilities
Drive business development, securing projects worth OMR 1-3 million within the first 3 months and increasing turnover to OMR 5 million in the second year.
Oversee expansion into large-scale township housing, industrial construction, and mixed developments, targeting a turnover of OMR 10 million by the third financial year.
Supervise construction processes from conception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Administer and coordinate departments including Estimation, Project Management, Procurement, HR, Fabrication, and Quality Assurance.
Manage project estimates, tenders, and contractor negotiations while ensuring materials procurement aligns with project requirements.
Conduct site inspections and enforce quality control measures across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Engage in stakeholder negotiations, bidding processes, and address client queries effectively.
Prepare and present reports on project status, sales, tenders, and profit & loss analyses.
Monitor legal and administrative compliance while resolving internal and external conflicts.
Analyze market trends and performance metrics to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's Degree in Cuvul Engineering / Related fields. Master's degree in business administration is an Additional Advantage.
Extensive experience managing multi-million-dollar projects in construction, real estate, oil & gas, or related fields.
Proven leadership and business development skills with a history of achieving financial milestones.
Strong technical expertise in project estimation, tendering, quality standards, and resource optimization.
Proficient in negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Analytical and decision-making skills to track and optimize performance metrics.
