Description:
The Resident Engineer will oversee the expansion of a factory in Abu Dhabi, acting as the client's representative and primary coordinator. This role involves ensuring smooth communication between all project stakeholders, managing the design, procurement, execution, commissioning, and handover phases, and adhering to project schedules and key performance indicators. The position requires strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills to safeguard the client’s objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Coordinate between PMC/appointed consultants and end-user/owner management teams.
Manage all stages of the project, including design, procurement, execution, commissioning, and documentation.
Monitor project activities, schedules, and progress through regular reports and project meetings.
Make decisions to align with and protect the client’s project goals.
Ensure compliance with stagewise inspections, approvals, and relevant contract management requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education:
Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with 15-20 years of experience OR
Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with 10-15 years of experience.
PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
Experience:
Expertise in Civil, Mechanical, HVAC, MEP, Fire Fighting, Telecom, and Electrical disciplines in industrial projects.
Experience with EPC or PMC roles for projects exceeding USD 10 million.
Proficiency in project coordination, delivery cycles, inspections, and documentation.
Age Limit: 40-50 years.
Strong communication, contract management, and leadership skills.
